Basket Coiling Class

About the Instructor:

Andrea Fernandez (@kocomagik2.0) is an artist and environmentalist that is constantly examining the interconnections of life through the relationship between artist and sustainability. Her mixed media work mindfully utilizes biodegradable and ethically sourced materials to inspire her viewers that art can be made with anything! She encourages the expansion of ones relationship with the self and source. By working with the environment, Andreas art teaches us the value in knowing we are not outside of nature but rather an extension of it. Her pieces challenge the viewer, other artists, and herself to explore new methods of sustainability and envision a more healing reality for us as a collective.
