Further Reading: SMO began in Sarah's small apartment in San Francisco's Lower Haight. Five years later, in 2022, she moved SMO into her first studio! With this bigger space, SMO was able to grow into its next phase: bigger workspace, bigger kiln, more capacity for clients/orders, WAY WAY more ceramics, and new products, too. That same year, Sarah's long-time dream to participate in West Coast Craft became a reality. Now in 2024, SMO is on the precipice of another BIG change. Sarah and family found themselves saying goodbye to San Francisco after 18 years, and moved down to Long Beach! Sarah continues to find inspiration in the small moments that brightens up a day. From a bowl of fruit, to a neighborhood dog park, she aims to amplify life's positive forces through her work. She hopes her creations bring that energy into your personal spaces, too.
